David Woodcock, is a singer-songwriter based in Southend-on-Sea Essex. A pianist and prolific writer, with a strong local following, he has been building up a solid songbook of sharp lyrics and great melodies that were distilled into his self-titled debut album, released in August 2014 and second album Normal Life in 2019 both released by Blow Up Records to much critical acclaim.
